1 Elizabeth is partnering with Wear It Purple for their ‘Wear It Purple marketplace’ event. Showcasing various stalls operated by young LGBTQ+ business owners, the event aligns with this year's Wear It Purple theme of 'Your Passion Your Pride'. Key offerings on the day include:
A range of stalls by young queer artists selling their art, zines, shirts, jewellery and more.
A Wear It Purple stall selling Wear It Purple merchandise, whilst also providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about Wear It Purple from the organisation’s team.
An interactive Rainbow Shoelace Project, where visitors can make their very own Wear it Purple or rainbow-beaded shoelaces to show their support for queer youth.
Poetry readings from one of the young queer artists at 12.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
The Bookshop Darlinghurst will also be selling a range of LGBTQ+ books.
